Ford is offering working people something to think about over the weekend, with the Blue Oval introducing the 2013 F-Series Super Duty, with the main novelty being the introduction of a Platinum premium model.
This is only offered with the Super Duty crew cab, can be ordered as a F-250, F-350 or F-450, while customers can choose between two engine: a 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel delivering 400 hp, as well as a 6.2-liter petrol V8 that produces 385 hp.
The front fascia is dominated with a unique grille that uses a satin chrome contour, while the car also gets elements such as chromed tow hooks, special 20-inch rims, chromed exhaust tips, door handles and mirror caps.
As for the interior, this offers a leather finish, wooden trimming, and quite a few gadgets, such as two USB ports and an SD card slot. The list of goodies includes a MyFord Touch telematic system that comes with a satellite navigation system and an 8-inch touch screen display, a rear view camera, as well as a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat.
Ford hasn’t released the pricing for the 2013 F-Series Super Duty Platinum, with the vehicle set to be launched later this year. However, the carmaker has offered us the adjacent videos, which explains some of its features.
