A Grand Forks County woman has been reported missing after leaving Grand Forks Sunday en route to Shelton, WA, to visit relatives.
The Sheriff’s Department reports Florence Agness Dumontet, 82, fueled her pickup in Grand Forks on Sunday at about 7:20 a.m.
She was last seen wearing a white colored jacket, black slacks, black shoes and eye glasses. Her hair is a bit longer than in the photo attached to this article.
Her family says Dumontet has a heart condition.
The truck she was driving is a 2008 Lincoln Mark LT crew-cab with ND license plate HXY-089, with chrome nerf bars, black vinyl tonneau cover over the pick-up box and chrome accent rocker panels on the lower side of the truck.
Dumontet likely had to refuel in Bismarck sometime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and then again in Miles City, MT.
According to an Idaho I-90 corridor license plate reader, Dumontet’s vehicle hasn’t traveled through that area.
Dumontet was to have arrived in Washington on Monday. The Sheriff’s Department says Dumontet is generally meticulous about her schedule and stays in touch while traveling.
She hasn’t been heard from and her cell phone goes directly to voicemail.
In past trips to Washington, Dumontet has always stayed overnight in Missoula, MT.
She was also traveling with a cream colored poodle.
If you have any information about Dumontet’s whereabouts, call the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Department at 701-780-8280.
